Warranty & Registration

Our lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects and frame failures under normal use — including broken ribs, bent shafts, and canopy attachment failures. It does not cover accidental damage, loss, or extreme misuse (e.g. using the umbrella in hurricane-force winds).

Visit our warranty registration page, fill in your name, email, Amazon Order ID, product model, and purchase date. It takes under a minute. You must register within 30 days of purchase.

Email us at support@wardrainsun.com with your Amazon order number and we'll review your case. We're flexible with customers who reach out in good faith.

Check your spam or promotions folder first. If it's not there, email support@wardrainsun.com with your name and Amazon Order ID and we'll confirm your registration manually.

Warranty Claims & Replacement

Email support@wardrainsun.com with: (1) your registered email or Amazon Order ID, (2) a brief description of the issue, and (3) a photo of the damage. We'll arrange a free replacement — no need to send the old one back.

No. We don't require returns for warranty replacements. Once we've verified the issue, we ship your replacement directly. This keeps things simple for everyone.

Replacements are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping from our fulfillment center usually arrives within 5–8 business days depending on your location.

Product Care & Use

After use in rain, open the umbrella fully and let it air-dry before storing — never store it wet or folded while damp, as this causes fabric and frame deterioration. Keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight when not in use. Avoid forcing the mechanism if it feels stiff; a light wipe with a dry cloth on the runner usually helps.

Minor fading over years of UV exposure is considered normal wear and is not covered by warranty. Significant early fading (within 6 months of normal use) may qualify — email us with a photo and we'll assess it.

Make sure the shaft is clean and dry — debris or moisture near the runner is the most common cause. If the button mechanism itself is faulty and the umbrella is registered under warranty, contact us for a replacement.
